Setting up your Home!

Envisage… Foresee… Predict… Planning is everything.

Compact dining

Before moving in, if you are allowed to make some alterations in the house make good use of it. Ensure that there is room for every appliance and furniture you have and also for the furniture you wish to purchase in future.

If you are getting new furniture, try getting furniture which stays compact but can be expanded when needed. There are 3 seater couches which can be pulled out into bigger ones. There are a lot of options available for expandable couches, Tea tables and also Dinning tables. Make use of the space available and do not occupy space with oversized furniture. Make use of all the Corners, L shaped couches and Corner tables compliment the corners of the house.

Power plug points

Make sure there are enough number of power points in the house, especially in the kitchen. If not, manage to get  power point fixed in whichever place you will need immediately or in future. If there are points reachable for children, make sure they are properly child proofed.

  7. I have been working on organization in my home. We currently are in a small apartment for the time being and lack space. If I’m not organized, my house will be chaos.

  8. Love your post! The only thing with light color flooring is the bathroom is that with kids it always look dirty! I love my flooring not too pale for this exact reason. But it sure looks really good when light colored!
